“My practice focus is patients with glaucoma and cataracts; optomap gives me an excellent view of findings typical in glaucoma patients, such as cup-to-disc, disc hemorrhages, notching or focal thinning and papillary atrophy. In addition, the UWF image allows me to pick up subtle issues such as retinal nerve fiber layer drop-off which I would not be able to see with a limited-field photo.”
